The Boys & Girls Clubs of King County exists to inspire and enable all young people, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens.

Our alliance with the Rainier Vista Boys & Girls Club reflects our commitment to provide opportunities for inner-city youth to experience boating in a safe and enjoyable environment. We offer a U S Coast Guard Auxiliary safety class to our junior mariners and chaperones to help develop their appreciation and respect for the aquatic environment. We also sponsor several activities during the year that provide a positive atmosphere for growth for the B & G Club participants.

EDUCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS

We are committed to providing financial assistance to encourage inner-city youth to achieve their educational potential. We contribute an annual scholarship to be awarded by The Greater Seattle Chapter of the LINKS, INC, an international organization dedicated to serving the communities in which we live.

Our goal is to sustain and increase our educational and scholarship program and to increase our support of programs that improve literacy and academic achievement among disadvantaged youth.

We are active in our continued efforts to make positive contributions to our community to support academic, personal and emotional growth through positive experiences and to enrich the lives of our community as a whole.
