Seattle Boat Show (1/24-2/02)
The 61st-Annual Seattle Boat Show, January 24 - February 2, features 1,000 recreational watercraft, seminars and the latest innovations in accessories at Qwest Field Event Center, plus 200 world-class boats in their natural habitat on South Lake Union. The West Coast's Largest Boat Show features a convenient free shuttle service running continuously between the two venues. Shake Down Cruise (3/14 - 3/16)
Our annual “shakedown cruise” will be to the Poulsbo Marina. This is the time for captains and first mates to make all of the mechanical, electrical, and provisioning checks to ensure that your boat is safe and well equipped for another year of cruising. Blake Island, Junior Mariners Cruise (6/21)
Another outreach project with the Rainier Vista Boys & Girls Club. After attending a US Coast Guard Auxiliary boating safety class, the Junior Mariners board ERYC member’s boat for a cruise to Blake Island, which offers serene beauty and wildlife in the heart of Puget Sound. Independence Day Cruise (7/3-7/6))
This event, held at Friday Harbor Marina during the Independence Day weekend, promises to be an exciting one. The town of Friday Harbor stages a parade with all the glamor of "small town" allure. Make your reservations early, as this is the busiest time of the year for Island cruising. |

Olympia Lakefair Cruise (7/16-7/20))
The Swantown Marina in Olympia is as far south as you can cruise in Puget Sound. Events at Lakefair include a huge parade through Olympia, a farmers market, and a hotrod and vintage car and morotcycle show. You will be glad you made this cruise. |

This annual event features a picnic at the Lakewood Marina. ERYC boaters can anchor and raft in Andrews Bay and take their dinghies ashore for the festivities. Our outreach continues with the Rainer Vista Boys & Girls Club joining in the activities. We need Cruise leaders for this event. |

Labor Day Cruise (8/29-8/31))
Point Hudson Marina at Port Townsend is the locale for this cruise. This is an extremely popular and busy marina so be sure to get your reservation in early. Port Townsend is a wonderful town where you can browse through many one-of-a-kind shops and botiques. This cruise also is the "jump-off" point for the extended cruise to Canada (see below for more info). |

Extended Cruise to Barkley Sound, Canada (9/1 - 9/14)
This two-week extended cruise takes us north through Victoria to clear customs, then around south end of Vancouver Island and up the "outside" of the island to Barkley Sound. Keep a watch for killer whales, porpoises, sea lions, eagles, and many other forms of wildlife. Barkley Sound and the Broken Group Islands (click for link) comprise one of the three main recreational components in Pacific Rim National Park. You really don't want to miss this one. First Mates Shopping Cruise (10/17 - 10/19)
Seattle’s Bell Harbor Marina makes cruising to downtown a great destination. The marina accents and compliments an entire waterfront community. It is within walking distance to the aquarium, Pike Place Market, and the downtown area. The marina is situated at Bell Street Pier/Pier 66, where you'll find scenic plazas, breathtaking views, fine restaurants, and the Odyssey Maritime Discovery Center. The waterfront trolley stops on Alaskan Way across from the marina. If you plan to attend, please contact ASAP since this marina is extremely popular and has limited moorage. |
