ERYC Commodore's Ball (1/30)
The 2010 Commodores Ball will be held at the Rainier Yacht Club from 6:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. The RYC is located at 9094 Seward Park Avenue South, Seattle, WA 98118. Attire for officers is Dress Black. Additional information can be obtained from Robert Burns (425-255-1981).

Seattle Boat Show (1/23-2/01)
The 62nd-Annual Seattle Boat Show, January 29 - February 6, features 1,000 recreational watercraft, seminars and the latest innovations in accessories at Qwest Field Event Center, plus 200 world-class boats in their natural habitat on South Lake Union. The West Coast's Largest Boat Show features a convenient free shuttle service running continuously between the two venues. For more information about both venues, go to this website:

Sweetheart Cruise
Our Valentines Day Sweetheart Cruise will be held at the Bremerton Marina. This is a brand new marina within easy walking distance to downtown Bremerton. Dinner at Anthony’s Bremerton. Please notify Will if you are planning on having dinner.

Shake Down Cruise
Our annual “shakedown cruise” will be to the Port Orchard Marina. This is the time for captains and first mates to make all of the mechanical, electrical, and provisioning checks to ensure that your boat is safe and well equipped for another year of cruising. Reservations have been made so please call or email Will if you are planning on attending.

LaConner Spring Rendezvous
LaConner Marina has 350' of dockside moorage. Also, this is the time of year for the annual Tulip Festival. Reservation n eed to be made by each captain within 30 days of cruise. Need 1st night paid.

MAY
Opening Day Boating Activities (5/1)
Opening Day of Boating Season, sponsored by the Seattle Yacht Club, is always a festive occasion. The theme this year is “Out of This World”. Look for us in the “Decorated Power” category as we pass through the Montlake Cut. If you plan to attend, please contact Robert Burns no later than April 26.

Memorial Day Cruise
Our Memorial Day cruise this year will be to the Poulsbo Marina. Reservations have been made at the marina for 10 boats.

JUNE
Junior Mariners Cruise
Another outreach project with the Rainier Vista Boys & Girls Club. After attending a US Coast Guard Auxiliary boating safety class, the Junior Mariners board ERYC member’s boat for a cruise to Blake Island, which offers serene beauty and wildlife in the heart of Puget Sound. The island has several miles of hiking trails and is ideal for beachcombing. If you plan to attend, please contact Robert & Diane Burns.

AUGUST
Seattle Rendezvous @ Lakewood Marina.
This annual event features a picnic at the Lakewood Marina. ERYC boaters can anchor and raft in Andrews Bay and take their dinghies ashore for the festivities. Our outreach continues with the Rainer Vista Boys & Girls Club joining in the activities. If you plan to attend or can help with the festivities, please contact the cruise/event leader.

AUGUST/SEPTEMBER
Extended Cruise to Canada
This two-week extended cruise takes us north through Vancouver, Pender Harbor, Princess Louisa Inlet, Nanaimo, and Victoria. Keep a watch for killer whales, porpoises, sea lions, eagles, and many other forms of wildlife. You really don't want to miss this one. If you plan to attend, please contact the Fleet Captain.


OCTOBER
First Mates Shopping Cruise
Seattle’s Bell Harbor Marina makes cruising to downtown a great destination. The marina accents and compliments an entire waterfront community. It is within walking distance to the aquarium, Pike Place Market, and the downtown area. The marina is situated at Bell Street Pier/Pier 66, where you'll find scenic plazas, breathtaking views, fine restaurants, and the Odyssey Maritime Discovery Center. If you plan to attend, please contact the marina ASAP since this marina is extremely popular and has limited moorage.
